What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties will include:
- Operating, setting, and programming our new Citizen sliding head turning machine.
- Be under the supervision of a skilled machine operator, learning all the day to day tasks involved in the setup of the machine tool setting and programming.
- Learning about materials and the general set up of the machine.
- Be shown all the measuring equipment used to perform all operations and all about the inspection side of engineering CMM, Shadowgraph Etc.

Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship Qualification
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) – Awarding organisation EAL; GLH 750, this qualification ensures full knowledge to complete the fitting role.

After completion of your apprenticeship you will potentially have the opportunity to progress onto full-time positions within the business.
