What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for someone to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years. To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development. To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Deputy Nursery Manager/Nursery Manager To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Plan and implement stimulating and inclusive activities
Encourage all aspects of communication development - Support all aspects of children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times
- Maintain accurate registers and children’s development records
- Build effective relationships with parents, children and work colleagues
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be working towards your early years practitioner level 2 qualification which requires you to attend classes at Bolton College one day a month. If you do not already hold pass grades in maths and English then you will also have to work towards your functional skills qualification will will mean attending maths and/or English classes at Bolton College each week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression onto higher level apprenticeships or full-time positions may be available to the right candidate
