What will the apprentice be doing?

-       Conform to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace

-       Shadowing experience operatives and learning on the job

-       Preparing surfaces by sanding down, priming, mist coat and undercoat

-       Cut in and paint to a very high standard

-       Painting walls, ceilings, skirting boards

-       Glossing woodwork, bannisters, doors

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

-       Asbestos awareness course

-       CITB Health & Safety Awareness

-       CSCS certification

-       NVQ Level 2 and opportunities to progress to Level 3

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Wage increase, upon successful annual review

The successful applicant will travel to various sites with the employer . The successful applicant must be able to attend Bolton College one day per week.
