What will the apprentice be doing?
The role will involve several aspects, as is not limited to the following duties:
- General warehouse duties assisting the existing team in tasks such as: such as moving machinery, loading, and unloading delivered goods. General tidying.
- Assembly and testing of different types of CNC machinery we build and supply for installation.
- Learning standard engineering practices and processes, assisting existing staff with day-to-day engineering roles and activities.
- Application and software training to create parts for ManTech machines.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive on-the-job training and guidance from your employer, you will also attend Sandwell College 1 day per week to achieve your Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard
After a period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
An employer approved Level 2 Foundation Competence qualification.
An employer approved Level 3 Development Competence qualification.
An employer approved Level 3 Development Technical Knowledge qualification.
