Our client is looking for an apprentice to learn engineering skills and work towards a career in Engineering. You will work in both main sectors of the business in the service section and new build and some of the roles you will complete are:
- Effectively maintain the equipment
- Repair tankers
- Clean and remove pipework
- To proactively carry out maintenance and repair works as and when required and supporting a continuous improvement process
- Management of engineering workshops and equipment
- Fabricate section to create new build tanker manufacture
- Work on all aspects of production to create road worthy tankers
- Production of LPG, Rigid tankers, and semi-trailers
- To proactively carry out manufacture and production works as and when required, supporting a continuous improvement process
- Management of engineering workshops and equipment
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive on the job training and guidance in order to achieve your Level 2 Engineering Operative Standard on the welding and fabrication pathway. This will involve completing Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations (competence) and Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Operations (knowledge).
