AB Fans we have years of experience when it comes to the intricate design and manufacturing of our high-quality industrial fans and are looking to expand their team. You will be assembly and Fitting and using measuring equipment.

Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 and Friday, 07:00 - 13:00. Half an hour lunch.

What will the apprentice be doing?
As an apprentice Fabricator, your duties will include the following:
- Learn how to use manual machinery
- Learn how to MIG and TIG weld
- Use of jigs and tooling
- Assembly and Fitting
- Using measuring equipment
- Able to understand and interpret drawings
- Working to tight tolerances
- Use of hand tools
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive on the job training and guidance from your employer and will also attend Sandwell College 1 day per week to achieve your Level 3 Engineering Technician qualifications.
After a period of foundation skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
- An employer approved Level 2 Foundation Competence qualification
- An employer approved Level 3 Development Competence qualification
- An employer approved Level 3 Development Technical Knowledge qualification
