What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working within a unique operation you will assist the site teams in many aspects, working across both functional and operation areas
  • Resource planning
  • Ensuring Health and Safety processes are updated and followed
  • Ensuring all finance interactions are recorded and updated
  • Assisting in Continuous Improvement projects
  • Managing projects
  • Completing one to ones with your Team
  • Assisting HR with HR interventions

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • During the four-year program, Apprentices experience two  structured placements across in  warehousing and/or transport operations giving you the opportunity to gain real life experience. In partnership with The Open University, the Chartered Manager Degree Level 6 Apprenticeship  has been developed to build a Candidates capability to manage and guide within a successful Supply Chain environment
  • Apprentices will learn the technical knowledge, acquiring vocational experience and wider skills from across a variety of DHL customer contracts and locations within our UKI Supply Chain business

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • By the end of our Apprenticeship, you will have developed the professional knowledge combined with the skills and behaviours to become a successful Assiatant Accountant. With the potential to step on to the next level of Business progression within the Finance Function
