What will the apprentice be doing?

Remit is recruiting on behalf of Revolution Bars as someone to join their team in Wilmslow, SK9 1HY. You are required to be over the age of 18 due to health and safety. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. We rate ourselves as trainers. If you’re keen to start a career in food, we’ll give you all skills to thrive whilst working in a fun environment for an awesome brand. What you’ll be responsible for

• Organising and preparing for service

• Cooking great food and wowing our guests

• Championing high standards in the kitchen

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As a L2 Production Chef apprentice, you will be working and learning in a fast-paced environment and will be given the opportunity to work on and learn about each section of a commercial kitchen. This will give you an insight into the different areas and help to decide which area you feel you would like to work in going forward. You will be expected to prepare some food for cooking, and complete some basic cooking of some foods, as well as preparing crockery and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard. As a result, you will receive the following qualification: Functional Skills in English & maths Level 1 and upskill to Level 2

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion of apprenticeship, you will be given an opportunity to join the team as a trained chef. Opportunities for Personal and Professional Growth.
