What will the apprentice be doing?
- Checking goods in against orders
- Managing goods in/out in stock elements of business

- Ordering supplies when necessary, booking and then cataloguing goods onto digital system
- Taking orders and picking from shelves
- Dispatch to delivery drivers
- Eventually assisting on service and parts counter
- Dealing with customers largely face to face

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Maths and English to Level 1 required, if not already achieved.
The Level 2 maths and English to Level 2 - test to be taken - please note the apprentice will need to study to be capable of passing the level 2 and cannot simply be entered for it without proof of readiness to take test.
Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider - for example meetings with apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace, gathering evidence Undertake a self-assessment in the last month of their apprenticeship to enable them to see whether they are confident that they have taken on board all aspects of the occupation. This self-assessment must be submitted to the independent end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for the professional discussion.
