What will the apprentice be doing?

Working as a member of the front of house team, you will be supporting the kitchen and bar area to ensure customers are happy and that they have a great experience.

Daily duties will include:

  • Polishing cutlery
  • Taking orders
  • Running food
  • Clearing tables
  • Taking payment
  • Cleaning
  • Serving drinks
  • Stocking bar area
  • Teamwork
  • Making coffee

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be working towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship standard.

You will receive on and off the job training and support from an assessor and an apprenticeship advisor.

You will be required to attend Cornwall College Camborne on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There may be the opportunity for a permanent position within the company upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
