This is a full-time role for an apprentice IT Support Officer based in our London office. The successful candidate will be expected to complete IT maintenance & support tasks as directed by the IT Leadership team, through the IT Service Desk, and in support of the IT Support Officers based in London and Regional IT Service Manager based in London.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Complete allocated tickets from the Service Desk in line with agreed service levels
- Aligning with Global IT Policy
- Assisting staff at all levels with a wide range of hardware and software issues
- System & Application Support (MS Office/O365, general desktop/application support)
- Ensuring running of meeting room systems
- When required assisting staff with AV for events
- Supporting staff remotely with software issues
- Remediating Vulnerabilities by ensuring devices are patched in accordance with IT Security Policies
- Managing and maintaining stock levels for peripherals in the office
- Maintaining and provisioning IT equipment on desks where required
- Creating knowledge for any known issues when found
- Liaise with 3rd Line IT teams to complete technical tasks with infrastructure specific to the local office
- Onboarding and Offboarding staff by ensuring equipment is provisioned and returned respectively

Required Skills:
- Existing IT Knowledge
- Willingness to develop new IT Skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders
Desirable Experience:
- Customer Service Experience
- Previous IT Support experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft Operating systems & Office software
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Apprentice and Training Partnership, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning. You will gain the Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification upon completion of the apprenticeship.
