What will the apprentice be doing?

Main duties will include:

  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • Plan, lead and facilitate small group teaching
  • Ensure that classroom stock is maintained
  • Undertake playground duties, engaging in with pupils and supporting them at playtime and lunchtime

Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
