What will the apprentice be doing?
· To carry out all tasks to a high standard and strict deadlines using spreadsheets or database applications, accounting or administrative systems in accordance with Applocum company procedures
· Collection, filtering and authorisation of weekly timesheets
· Processing and reconciling timesheets on Etips / Sales invoices and Purchase invoices on Sage (Maxipay and Exceed as necessary)
· Processing of payments received, and monies authorised to pay out
· Reconciliation of bank statements, identifying and correcting errors and arranging transfers between accounts as required.
· To conduct credit control tasks, in line with AppLocum’s collection policy
· To assist with a range of office, administrative and ad-hoc finance related tasks as required
· To assist with month end management accounts and financial year end procedures
· MER reconciliation for invoice financing facility
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be studying the AAT level 2 accounts and finance assistant standard, as well as any functional skills courses that may be required, alongside your daily job role within the organisation. You will be required to attend Bolton College 1 day a week to undertake classroom studies and work towards your AAT and functional skills (if required) exams at the end of your course duration.
