What will the apprentice be doing?
The main purpose of the role is to assist the NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works) Manager to deliver permit and notices across England and Scotland., whilst working towards a L3 business admin qualification.
Responsibilities will include:
To assist the NRSWA Manager in delivering the NRSWA permits and notices across the spectrum
To assist the NRSWA Manager in achieving the NRSWA timelines and deadlines into the highways authorities
To assist the NRSWA Manager in ensuring that all subcontract suppliers and direct labour organisation operatives operating within the whole contract are operating legally and are fully compliant in respect of NRSWA
To manage defined aspects of NRSWA with subcontract suppliers and direct labour organisation operatives on the whole contract employing good communication techniques.
To ensure that all NRSWA requirements operates within a good culture in the area of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management areas.
To carry out all reasonable tasks as requested by the Team Leader/NRSWA Manager

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths, English (if not already achieved)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
