What will the apprentice be doing?

You will undertake a range of administrative duties to support the Data and Exams Team to deliver a consistent, high qualify, integrated and seamless service. 

  • Act as the first point of contact for students coming into the office.
  • Receiving and checking student trip forms.
  • Printing new exam timetables for students.
  • Creating lanyard packs for school trips.
  • Helping out with running of exams.
  • Issuing Exam Certificates including obtaining student signatures.
  • Checking and resolving failed parent email addresses on GroupCall.
  • Assisting with the organisation and delivery of baseline tests for Year 7 students.
  • Assist with Year 6 Transition Day.
  • Filing, managing post etc.

Duties and responsibilities of the post may change as requirements and circumstances change.  The post holder may be required to carry out other duties as requested by management that are broadly within the level of the post.

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours.
  • Day release to attend college at our Havering campus (RM11 2LL)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship a permanent position could be offered depending upon the needs of the school at that time.
