What will the apprentice be doing?

Daily duties will include:

- Shampooing/conditioning hair
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Greeting clients
- Making refreshments         
- Answering the telephone          
- Making and booking appointments         
- Preparing clients for further services/treatments
- Laundry     

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Hair Professional apprenticeship standard.

Training will take place in the salon via shadowing experienced colleagues and will also take place in the form of online learning and live interactive webinars.

A Total People Learning Coach will be assigned to support the apprentice throughout the programme.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progress to a stylist position with ongoing training.
