What will the apprentice be doing?

Working alongside experienced qualified staff you will work under supervision towards being multi skilled and responsible for a wide range of tasks

Carrying out checks and maintenance as outlined within Planned Preventative Maintenance

Work to fault find diagnose carry out repairs/breakdown

Monitor and interpret data to support efficiency

Carry out instructions from Lead Engineers

Ensure Health and Safety is maintained and show due diligence

Comply with company policies and procedures

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Diploma advanced Engineering technician qualification attending our NWTC on full time block release followed by day release at NWTC and for training and Further EducationThe remainder of your time will be spent with your employer we will support you through your apprenticeship NWTC will deliver your training and monitor you on a regular basis to ensure you achieve the standards required including core skills knowledge & behaviours in preparation for gateway/end point assessment

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At the end of the apprenticeship, candidates will be suitably trained and continue their employment dependant on the business needs at the time.
