We are a family run nursery set in extensive beautiful grounds. Due to expansion we are looking to recruit a number of apprentices. There is good career progression and a number of our staff have been with us for over 20 years. We offer paid lunch breaks as well as a free cooked lunch each day. Enhanced DBS check and 2 references are required.

What will the apprentice be doing?

To be trained to do the post as a Nursery Practitioner, working practically as part of a team. To contribute to a high quality caring environment for children. To learn and understand the Nursery’s policies and procedures.

Ramillies Hall is a Nursery and Holiday Club in Cheadle Hulme. Our staff are expected to provide a stimulating, exciting, caring and secure environment for children aged 6 months to 11 years

Main Duty

· To Support qualified nursery staff with daily routines in the nursery.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The training is done on the job and a tutor will come to assess and meet with you at your place of work. 

After 12 months you should be able to work as a level 2 qualified Childcare Practitioner.
