Brief Description
To support and enable people who live in the home, to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual.
To provide high quality care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures agreed standards and legislative requirements.
Qualifications Required
- Good English written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- 3 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above
Personal Qualities
• A Team Player
• Reliable and punctual
• Be polite and respectful in any communication with the team, residents and or external visitors
• When interacting with residents, be person-centred, and promote respect and dignity
Skills Required
• Competent IT skills
• Satisfactory DBS Check
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and personal responsibility
• Genuine interest in working within the care industry
Training to be Provided
Adult care qualification including Functional Skills in Maths and English if required

You will be working towards your Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship over 15 months. No experience necessary as full training will be provided and fully funded by Lovett Care.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their well being
• Ensure that all required standards are maintained
• Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals you support
• Develop effective working relationships with all team members
• Assist in the support of new care team members to their job role
• Maintain accurate documentation on pcs at the point of care delivery
• Support residents to maintain a high standard of personal care, hygiene, and physical wellbeing
• Ensure resident’s aids and equipment are maintained e.g., glasses, wheelchairs, dentures
• Respond immediately to any concerns that may pose a risk to health, safety and wellbeing of residents, visitors, or your team
