What you'll do at work
The successful apprentices will join our friendly and supportive Key Stage 1 team, working with children in Years 1 and 2.
They will work closely with class teachers and experienced teaching assistants to support teaching and learning, both within the classroom and through small-group and individual activities.
Key responsibilities will include supporting children's academic, social and emotional development, preparing learning resources, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting pupils with a range of learning needs.
Apprentices will be involved in the daily routines of school life and will have opportunities to develop their skills across the curriculum. Their main day-to-day contact will be the class teacher, with additional guidance, mentoring and support provided by the Phase Leader and wider school leadership team.
