- Reconciliations and reporting – checking figures, investigating differences and making sure everything adds up
- Cloud accounting and technology – using modern software to process information and help us work smarter
- Client service and administration – communicating professionally and helping keep the practice running smoothly
- You’ll start with the basics and build your knowledge, skills and responsibilities as your confidence grows
💡 What will you be doing?
No two days need to be exactly the same. You’ll help our team with tasks such as:

- Completing bank and finance reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT and tax returns
- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual accounts

- Using accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word and other digital systems
- Keeping electronic client records organised and helping us maintain our paperless approach
- Supporting client communications, general administration and the smooth running of the office
- As part of a small team, everyone plays a part. You’ll also help with everyday office tasks, such as handling telephone enquiries, welcoming visitors, managing post and preparing documents
- These tasks are a normal part of working in a small practice and will be balanced with your developing accountancy responsibilities
