They are responsible for managing all maintenance provisions across the London Estate and delivery of small projects

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Learn and assist with the preparation of detailed specifications for construction work and contract documents
- Learn the benefits and techniques of assessing tender submissions and undertake tender analysis
- Develop an understanding of how to prepare project accounts and financial management and undertake the preparation of accounts for small and medium projects
- Learn how to undertake basic surveys of properties and understand the benefit of running a 10-year Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule
- Understand and work within health and safety requirements and statutory fire requirements when running projects
- Work with members of project management teams to support and carry out ad hoc surveys, project performance, financial, and project and portfolio reports
- Work with and support the delivery of the Major Works, ESF, and SMDP project portfolios
- Learn how to establish client briefs, appoint and manage consultants and contractors, coordinate design development, obtain planning and/or listed building consent, manage projects successfully through the RIBA Stages, including procurement, and support projects through the Grosvenor Gateway Approval Process
- Learn above the relevant statutory requirements for construction and facilities management projects when they are relevant and how to apply them to projects
- Assist in monitoring onsite fabric, maintenance & electrical projects and liaising with suppliers and tenants
- Learn about risk, programme, and cost management across a range of projects

Training schedule
The Project Manager programme integrates live and online workshops with self-paced learning, employing a guided discovery approach for individual learner contexts.
Learners are assigned a Digital Learning Consultant (DLC) for personalised coaching and support. These specialists ensure their successful progress, well-being, and readiness for assessments.

Entry requirements:
- 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC etc.)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)

- 5 x GCSE’s including English & maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
