Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant (preferably with experience of working in a Primary or Early Years setting) to join our dedicated and creative team. This post is offered on a temporary basis for 2 years, pending a review of the needs of the school.

- Support the well-being and mental health of learners.
- Observe, record, and report on learners in line with organisational procedures.
- Apply methods of formative assessment.
- Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
- Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
- Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
- Provide feedback to learners.

Training schedule
The apprenticeship is a work-based training opportunity, with the qualification being delivered by Lincoln College. There may be a requirement to be on campus at times during the apprenticeship.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4 or C and above)
- Maths (grade 4 or C and above)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
