Summary

Join Esquires Coffee as an Apprentice Hospitality Team Member! You will learn to deliver outstanding customer service, prepare specialty food and beverages, and master counter operations. Through hands-on training with HIT Training, you will gain a level 2 qualification while building a rewarding career in coffee shop management.

Wage

£12,480 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Delivering high-quality customer service at the counter and till
  • Preparing and serving specialty coffee, hot drinks, and food items
  • Operating the till and managing cash and card transactions accurately
  • Clearing tables, washing up, and keeping the floor and seating areas clean
  • Maintaining strict food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Keeping stock levels replenished and counters neatly displayed
  • Working collaboratively with team members during busy service times

Training schedule

Training will take place entirely on-site at the employer's premises during working hours. You will receive regular one-to-one coaching sessions from a dedicated HIT Training Assessor alongside hands-on learning from experienced team members. Functional Skills in English and Maths will be provided if required.

Hospitality Team Member Level 2 (Food and Beverage) apprenticeship standard delivered in partnership with HIT Training. The program includes workplace learning, 1-to-1 coaching, and online study modules.
