You will be working in schools, nursery and holiday camp setting and Academy football sessions, working as an assistant coach delivering PE and football academy sessions to 2yrs-12yrs old. Building to lead sessions depending on experience and development.
The role will involve:
- Delivering sessions to a high standard in a fun and engaging environment.
- Support in promoting the business.
- Delivery of Taster days.
- Delivery of community projects in line with business needs.

This apprenticeship is part-funded and supported by Coach Core's charitable programme, creating employment opportunities for 16–24-year-olds who have faced barriers to education, employment or career progression. We support young people with the potential to succeed who may have experienced financial disadvantage, additional learning needs, caring responsibilities or other personal or socio-economic challenges.
No previous experience is required – we're looking for enthusiasm, potential and a willingness to learn. Coach Core provides additional support throughout the apprenticeship, while the employer is responsible for the final recruitment decision.

- Use coaching styles for sport or physical activity sessions meeting the participants needs and motivations.

- Use techniques to build rapport with participants.
- Carry out the tasks required before, during and after a community activity.
- Support participants to overcome personal or societal barriers.
- Manage individuals' behaviours within a group setting.
- Work collaboratively with services and other community organisations to run events that make the best use resources.
- Record and store data and information, in line with legislation and organisational policies and procedures.
- Use suitable digital technology to deliver targeted messages to participant groups.
- Adapt communication methods to meet the needs of participants and groups.
