Typical shift Pattern:
12.30 pm to 8.30 pm, however must be flexible to meet the needs of the business as weekend work will be expected.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
• Providing excellent customer service to visitors and guests.
• Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace.
• Supporting the team with daily catering and hospitality operations.
• Learning and following food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Assisting with stock rotation and basic stock control duties.
• Working effectively as part of a team in a busy hospitality environment.

About this employer
The Station is a charming 19th Century Inn, situated just on the outskirts of the rural village of Picton in North Yorkshire. The Station pub was born in the railway age, and was built to serve the needs of railway customers, providing refreshment and somewhere to stay for weary travellers.
The Station pub takes its name from the old railway station on the Northallerton to Eaglescliffe line. The railway station was also a junction for trains on the Picton to Battersby line. The Station was closed to passengers in 1960 and to goods in 1964. The old platform can still be seen today
