Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
This isn't a corporate role with rigid processes and layers of management; you'll be joining a small, ambitious team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets stuck in. Alongside that hands-on exposure, you'll get proper structured support: regular guidance from the team, on-the-job training and a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer qualification to build your skills as you go, so you're growing into the responsibility, not thrown in at the deep end.
What you'll do:
Social media and content
- Manage and schedule organic content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, helping grow our follower community
- Write engaging, on-brand captions and content in Cubbi's tone of voice
- Keep an eye on trends and bring fresh ideas for formats, hooks and content that will resonate with new and expecting parents
- Support founder-led and behind-the-scenes content that builds our brand personality
Blog and newsletter
- Write and publish a weekly blog post and newsletter to keep our user base informed and engaged
- Repurpose blog content across social and email to maximise reach
- Proofread and edit all copy to a high standard, in line with our brand and tone of voice guidelines
Brand partnerships and events
- Work closely with our brand partners on campaigns, activations and events, helping bring exciting collaborations to life
- Support the planning and delivery of partner content, competitions and solus campaigns
- Help coordinate our presence at partner events and shows
Paid media, UGC and content creators
- Support the planning, setup and monitoring of paid social campaigns
- Help track and report on content and campaign performance, using data to inform what we do next
- Manage and brief UGC and content creators, making sure content is on-brand and delivered on time
General
- Utilise and embed AI to improve processes and output; we're looking for someone who's ready to experiment with AI to make the most of it
- Contribute ideas in team meetings and feel confident pitching new concepts
- Support wider marketing and growth activity as Cubbi scales
What we're looking for
- Genuine enthusiasm for social media and the latest marketing trends
- Strong writing skills and a creative flair, with real attention to detail
- Confidence to pitch ideas and speak up, even as the newest person in the room
- Comfortable using AI tools, or keen to learn and get hands-on with them
- Organised, proactive and happy working in a small, fast-moving team
- No experience necessary, we care more about attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn
How we work
Hybrid role, with regular in-person days in Birmingham each month, alongside travel to events and partner activations around the UK.
