Summary
We’re a busy team and are looking for an Apprentice - Warehouse Assistant who can bring their enthusiasm and willingness to learn to the team. Working closely with project managers and the wider operational support teams, you will fulfil the orders and contracts gained by the commercial team.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of all set and stage products
- Preparation of furniture for rental
- Preparation and testing of all audio visual equipment and cabling
- Operation of equipment for conferences, awards, exhibitions and venue installations - dependent on knowledge
- A current driving licence (preffered but not essential)
- Flexible working when necessary depending on business levels.
- Stock control, maintenance and cleanliness of all of the equipment, reporting all equipment malfunctions and inaccuracies.
- Accurate processing of all paperwork for Delivery, Collection & Goods In
- Product quality control, checking and maintaining of equipment prior to delivery and collection
- Working through projects on the internal booking system
- Liaison with internal departments.
- Setting up on site in accordance with customer requirements, general health and safety regulations and procedures
- Carrying out and completing assigned training tasks, competently and within agreed timescales
- Any other duties as requested by the Operations Manager

- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
- Carry out and record learning and development activities.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- Maths (grade 2)
- English (grade 2)
