Summary

As an Apprentice Hire & Sales Coordinator, you'll complete a 2-year apprenticeship, gaining an NVQ Level 3 in Hire Desk Operations through on-the-job experience and online learning. You'll develop skills in hire desk operations, sales, customer service, stock control, purchasing, administration, credit control and driver co-ordination.

Wage

£17,860 a year

Apprentices under 18 joining our programme you will be required to work a maximum of 39 hours per week with a starting salary of £16,224 per annum.

Apprentices over 18 joining our programme you will be required to work a maximum of 42.5 hours per week with a starting salary of £17,860 per annum.
After successful completion of Year 1, you will automatically move onto the National Minimum Wage rate for your age group.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Our 2 Year Apprenticeship Programme covers all the essential skills and principles you will need to become a HSC and you'll learn how to run an effective hire desk, including stock control and purchasing, driving sales and managing customer queries effectively whilst coordinating drivers to ensure customers' needs are met.

You'll also study everything from customer service and sales skills to back office administration and credit control of a high-performing hire desk.

Training schedule

You will be working towards a Customer Service Specialist Level 3 - with BMS Progress - you will complete your learning online.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

4 GCSE (grade C/D)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
