Summary

This exciting role combines internal IT support with customer-facing technical support for cutting-edge pharmacy automation and dispensing robots. You'll help install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced hardware and software, providing support both remotely and on-site.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Technical support and troubleshooting
  • Provide in-person, telephone, and email support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Assist customers with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for both software and hardware installations.
  • Diagnose, test, and repair mechanical and electrical issues as needed.
  • Facilitate software deployment, updates, and customer training.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote Avonnex’s offerings.

  • Apply continuous professional development CPD to support their own learning, business needs and technical developments.

Training schedule

An apprenticeship consists of a full-time role whilst being enrolled onto a course. The course is delivered in weekly online sessions via Zoom. Your week will be an 80/20 split, with 80% on-the-job, and 20% studying/online sessions.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4/C)
  • Maths (grade 4/C)
