Summary

Due to the continued success of the business both in established and new market places, HCI Systems are looking to recruit a Trainee Wiring Harness Technician to join the team and further assist the company in its growth plans.

The trainee wiring harness technician role will be expected to build wiring harnesses on a day to day basis.

Wage

£15,600 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • To build, from a detailed drawing, sealed system wiring harnesses in a production environment to a high quality and in a timely manner
  • Prototyping on car and building first harness with minimal information to specify components for volume production builds
  • Make recommendations during builds to ensure best practice and HCI Codes of Practice are always followed
  • Full training will be provided
