Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will:
- Support children in their learning, both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one activities.
- Help create a positive, engaging and stimulating learning environment.
- Prepare resources and assist with classroom organisation.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and well-being.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping every child to succeed.
- Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and families as part of our collaborative team.
- Develop your knowledge and skills through a structured apprenticeship programme.
