Summary
We are looking for recruit an apprentice TA3 to support in our Early Years classes. The role will predominantly support Reception but there may be opportunities to support in our Pre-School and / or Year 1 class too. We are an ambitious school and are going from strength to strength in our practice.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Working within our Reception Pre-School classes.
Duties would include:
- listening to children read
- supervising safer eating
- enhancing continuous provision through high-quality interactions
- working with small groups of children
- understanding delivery of phonics
- assisting with classroom admin

- Apply methods of formative assessment.
- Use up to date technology safely, to support learning.
- Encourage safe use of technology by learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support all learners (for example, scaffolding, open questioning).
- Identify and respond to pastoral and academic behaviours in learners.
- Provide feedback to learners.

Requirements
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade Level 2 or equivalent)
- Maths (grade Level 2 or equivalent)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
