Summary

Working alongside experienced fabricators, you will manufacture bespoke steel products and structures. Duties include measuring, drilling, cutting, assembling framework and pipework, and supporting welding and fabrication activities. You may also assist with occasional customer site visits when required.

Wage

£16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 2/E)
  • Maths (grade 2/E)
