Summary
The purpose of this role is to support the Head Office Learning and Development team with innovative, creative programmes and projects from initiation through to evaluation aimed at our international audience. On appointment, you will be expected to undertake personal and professional studies working both with the CWGC and training provider.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Provide customer service and administrative support to learning and organisational development programmes including the use of the Learning Management System
- Consult with stakeholders to identify and analyse learning needs
- Design digital and live learning solutions and materials (working with experts as required)
- Source external learning services
- Deliver training (digital and live)
- Evaluation of training activities
- Provide feedback to inform learning and training needs requirements
- Seek out and analyse data in relation to learning activities
- Take ownership of projects and tasks through to resolution, escalating complex situations as appropriate
- Provide feedback to learners as needed
- Proactively role model learning

What you'll learn
Course contents
- Identification of training/learning needs: Identify and analyse learning needs: establish team and individual capability and learning gaps, in line with organisational performance outcomes and to enable effective evaluation. This may include the needs of the staff impacted by the move to a net carbon zero economy by 2050 and the requirements for a just transition.
- Identification of training/learning needs: Use sound questioning and active listening skills to understand requirements and establish root causes i.e. establishing that it really is a learning/training need, before developing L&D solutions.
- Identification of training/learning needs: Consult with stakeholders to draw out relevant information and provide feedback to inform learning and training needs requirements.
- Identification of training/learning needs: Use effective analytical skills to seek out and analyse information.
- Identification of training/learning needs: Take ownership through to resolution, escalating complex situations as appropriate
- Training/Learning design: Design, construct and structure training / learning resources to meet a variety of needs, which will include:
- Training/Learning design: Research of delivery options and resources including digital / online / blended solutions (including identifying existing resources)
- Training/Learning design: Planning programmes / sessions / modules
- Training/Learning design: Selecting appropriate delivery methods
- Training/Learning design: Designing creative, engaging, appropriate, and inclusive learning activities (could be e-learning, digital collaboration, group sessions, blended etc.)

- Training/Learning delivery: Confidently engage all learners in structured learner-centered training, primarily of ‘content-driven’ training resources.

Training schedule

- Ginger Nut’s delivery is based on a remote, blended model of one-to-one tutor sessions every 4 weeks, group sessions, webinars, online courses, video, and additional support where required
- Apprentices are allocated a tutor to guide them through the training, conduct regular meetings and prepare for End Point Assessment
- Our tutors are industry experts with relevant industry experience in addition to teaching and coaching expertise
- To support learning, we utilise online resources mapped to the apprenticeship and all learners are given access to LinkedIn
- Learning, and other bespoke channels designed to support their apprenticeship

Other requirements
The candidate must be able be willing to travel within the UK and overseas. A valid passport is therefore required.
You don’t need formal teaching experience, but you should enjoy helping others learn in any capacity.
You will be required to work from the office 2 days per week minimum (Tuesday and Wednesday).
