Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

Marketing Campaign Management:

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns
  • Use tools and channels to engage target audiences
  • Monitor campaign performance and collect data for analysis and reporting
  • Participate in marketing events and initiatives
  • Contribute to the generation of content and the configuration of design items

Customer Support:

  • Communicates effectively with customers by telephone and online
  • Provide customer service support, including technical advice and guidance on the successful use of products and services
  •       Assist in devising solutions to customer requirements and solve straightforward problems
  • Assist customers with a range of design and technical issues
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support or development teams
  • Provide first-line support via email, chat, or ticketing systems

Customer Engagement:

  • Assist in implementing customer engagement and loyalty initiatives
  • Use marketing technologies for customer engagement tasks
  • Collect and analyse customer data to support personalised communications
  • Monitor and report on customer engagement metrics

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Coordinate and maintain key marketing channels (both digital and offline)
  • Plan and deliver tactical campaigns against SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound) objectives
  • Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials, e.g. digital, print and video content as appropriate
  • Produce a wide range of creative and effective communications, including ability to write and proofread clear and innovative copy, project briefs, and give confident presentations
  • Able to engage and collaborate with a wide range of clients/stakeholders, across departments internally and with clients/suppliers externally to support marketing outcomes as required
  • Use good project and time management to deliver projects/tasks/events as appropriate, effectively. Including the ability to divide time effectively between reporting, planning and delivery
  • Coordinate several marketing campaigns/projects/events to agreed deadlines
  • Effectively liaise with, and manage, internal and external stakeholders including suppliers to deliver required outcomes
  • Monitor project budgets within their scope of work using appropriate systems and controls
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by choosing the appropriate digital and offline data sources
  • Assimilate and analyse data and information from a range of sources to support marketing activities
  • Evaluate data and research findings to derive insights to support improvements to future campaigns
  • Effectively use appropriate business systems and software to deliver marketing outcomes efficiently, for example to analyse data, produce reports and deliver copy
  • Use appropriate technologies to deliver marketing outcomes e.g. digital/web analytics, social media, CRM

Other requirements

The successful apprentice candidate should be comfortable helping people with marketing and technical issues and enjoy adding value to customer relationships and their use of our solutions. They will be detailed and thorough, able to investigate issues and possess good communication skills.

  • Must have - Confidence helping others. GCSE maths & English grade 4 or above
  • Should have - A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • Nice to have - Design skills

Career progress - This role has the potential to develop into several customer-facing roles and will include ‘on the job’ training to support your apprenticeship and development of new skills.
