Summary
Apprentice will be working towards the Engineering Maintenance Technician – Dual Discipline apprenticeship, the apprentice will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical and control systems.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Maintenance Activities:
- Assist with planned and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment reliability
- Support reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on manufacturing plant and equipment
Help maintain electrical and mechanical systems, such as:
- Motors (single and three-phase) Power supplies and low voltage electrical distribution
- Actuators, pumps, valves, fans and gearboxes
- Sensors, controls and basic programmable systems (where applicable)
