Working alongside our experienced site engineers and Technical Manager, you'll be hands-on from day one, supporting the monitoring, operation and maintenance of on-site steam boilers and associated equipment.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Your responsibilities will grow as you progress through the apprenticeship and will include:
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding on mechanical and electrical plant
- Assisting with the dismantling and reassembly of steam boilers and associated equipment during annual inspections
- Maintaining accurate log books and work-related documentation
- Working safely and in compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Actively participating in regular training and development reviews to track your progress
- Taking on increasing levels of responsibility as you develop throughout Years 2 & 3

This apprenticeship is delivered as a day release at our site in Stratford, E15.

Other requirements
Please note this is a physically demanding role that will involve some heavy lifting, working at height and in confined spaces, for which full training and support will be provided.
Candidates will need to hold a driving licence or be working towards obtaining one due to regional travel.
