Summary
Our Warehouse Operative Apprentice will support the daily operations of our Warehousing and Dispatch team while completing a recognised warehouse apprenticeship qualification. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain practical, hands‑on experience in a regulated warehouse environment.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The role is designed to develop core warehouse skills, an understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the importance of safety, quality and accuracy when handling goods. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start a career in warehousing and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Support picking, packing and dispatch activities in line with company SOPs
- Assist with the receipt of deliveries and movement of stock to correct locations
- Carry out basic quality and accuracy checks on goods and report any issues to a supervisor
- Assist with stock rotation and general stock control activities
- Use internal systems to record stock movements accurately (full training provided)
- Completing sea freight (China, USA) and customs paperwork
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring work areas are clean, tidy and well organised
- Follow all health & safety requirements, including COSHH awareness, manual handling techniques and wearing PPE
- Report hazards, near misses, damaged stock or safety concerns promptly
- Assist colleagues in other warehouse or operational areas as business demands
- Complete general warehouse tasks to support the wider team

Training schedule
Apprentices learn industry skills such as manual handling and health safety procedures. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff whilst completing your 13-month, Level 2 apprenticeship with an award-winning training provider, TRS Training.
More training information
TRS Training will provide monthly online sessions. Your apprenticeship will be completed by units that you need to submit throughout your employment and should take around 13months to complete.

GCSE in:
