Summary

Established in 1982, ASH are currently looking for a Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice to join their Production team. Duties will include carrying out manufacturing tasks, training to use a variety of machines, materials and chemicals, assessing quality, and more.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Gain knowledge of a variety of plastic materials, including Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PETG and HIPS
  • Undertake training which will include solvent gluing, UV Gluing, heat bending, drilling, diamond polishing and assembly
  • Training will include reading technical drawings
  • General housekeeping and maintaining of Health and Safety
  • Any other duties associated with the job role

Requirements

Desirable qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4/C or above)
  • Maths (grade 4/C or above)
