Summary

We are currently recruiting in the Bristol area for an apprentice site supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and health & safety of works being carried out, liasing in with the subcontracted work force whilst working alongside a site team of supervisors, managers and engineers.

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours.
  • Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects.
  • Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers.
  • Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan.
  • Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects.
  • Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 5)
  • Maths (grade 5)

Desirable qualifications

T Level in:

Design, Surveying and Planning (grade Pass)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

  • Apprentice must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel nationally for training or meetings as required
