Summary

Working under the supervision of highly skilled engineers, you'll be involved with various aspects of the business to build up skills, knowledge and experience. From design, manufacture, installation and maintenance, you'll build up skills to progress your journey with the company.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Shadow and support engineers to manufacture various recycling plant machinery for our customer base
  • Support with installation on-site for customers
  • Work with engineers to service and maintain customer equipment
  • Working on balers, conveyors, and mechanical drives, motors, gearboxes and industrial hydraulics under guidance
  • Support customers with breakdown diagnosis and repairs

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade C / 4)
  • Maths (grade C / 4)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
