Are you looking for a Gas and Heating Apprenticeship? IN2 in Biddenham are looking for a motivated person to join their team? This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside experienced engineers, learning all aspects of plumbing and heating. Duties will include assisting with boiler installations, servicing, breakdowns and general plumbing.

What you'll do at work
IN2 Plumbing is an established local plumbing and heating business with over 12 years of experience, based in Bedford. Their skills include all aspects of plumbing and heating, gas landlord checks, bathrooms, boiler installations, smart controls, servicing customers all around Bedfordshire and London areas.
They are now looking for an apprentice to join their team. Could this be what you have been looking for?
- Responsibilities include working alongside and assisting the engineers with boiler installations and heating systems, radiators, supporting servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.
- Carrying out gas safety checks.
- Carrying tools, materials and keeping work areas tidy.
- Communicating professionally with customers on site.
- Following health and safety procedures.
- You will also help with general plumbing tasks, collecting materials, and keeping vans organised.
Driving is preferred but not essential. The employer would consider someone who is currently learning.
The role is hands-on and physically demanding, with working hours from Monday–Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm and involves travelling to different sites across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas. Hours can vary depending on the workload.

- Perform routine service, maintenance, fault diagnosis and rectification procedures and techniques on low pressure Natural Gas systems (up to 35mm R1¼) and Natural Gas fired hot water and central heating appliances (up to 70kW net heat input).

Training schedule
You will gain the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Plumbing & Domestic Heating Apprenticeship.
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required).
You will also study a range of topics, including:
Health and safety, core plumbing systems, electrical components and control systems, plumbing science and processes, principles of environmental technology systems, principles of fossil fuels, customer service and communication.

Desirable qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 4)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
The role is hands-on and physically demanding with working hours Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, and involves travelling to different sites across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.
