Summary

The apprentice’s primary role is to convert & organise existing content (videos, testimonials, images) into daily social media posts, website blogs and emails, that generate enquiries. 

Must have own form of transport to get to work and back in Wivelsfield – Free parking on site.

£17,550 a year

What you'll do at work

Convert & organise existing content:

For Example:

  • Turn one student story into multiple pieces of content
  • Reuse and reformat existing materials efficiently
  • Work from a library of testimonials and success stories
  • Use and learn AI to help in the above tasks & make them more efficient

We already have a large volume of content and proof. The role is focused on turning this into consistent daily output.

Content Creation

  • Monitor and report on social media campaigns & YouTube Channels
  • Video - Edit long-form testimonial videos into short-form content for Social Media & Email Campaigns.
  • Categorise content by audience (e.g. nurses, mums, career changers)
  • Ensure the content and format adhere to brand guidelines
  • Consistent content tasks such as video editing, uploading & organising media libraries

Web:

  • Update website content & blogs
  • SEO
  • Uploading and editing images and copy

Outbound:

  • Monitor campaigns
  • E-mail and newsletter marketing
  • Market research

Ads:

  • PPC - Help run and monitor campaigns
  • Paid social - Monitor campaigns

General:

  • Administration & office duties
  • Operations duties
  • Meet & Greet Clients
  • Sales Administration
  • Flag or assist with incoming messages & social media comments

The Successful candidate will gradually take on more responsibility with content and engagement

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Training schedule

  • This role incorporates six hours of paid study time per week, including one day per month in person at the Creative Process Training Centre in Brighton. Make sure you can travel to Brighton for this

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

Maths & English (grade A*-C or 4-9)

After this apprenticeship

  • On successful completion of the apprenticeship the apprentice can discuss with the us to progress into a full time marketing role responsible for daily content output, support ongoing marketing activity & grow with the business as a key team member
