As an apprentice, you'll assist in marketing efforts for the UK, Spain, and Scandinavia, helping with digital content creation, campaigns, data analysis, and internal communications.

The current starting salary for a Marketing Apprentice is £21,500 plus £750 annual bonus- subject to their performance during the year.

What you'll do at work

While pursuing a Multi‑Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship, you’ll gain practical experience in real marketing projects across different regions and build your creative, analytical, and professional abilities.

Typical duties include: 

  • Creating and updating website and social media content 
  • Supporting marketing campaigns across the UK, Spain and Scandinavia 
  • Analysing website and campaign performance data 
  • Updating brochures, leaflets and other marketing materials 
  • Supporting with internal company communications 
  • Assisting with day-to-day marketing activities and projects

What you'll learn

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.

Training schedule

Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard: 

The successful candidate will undertake a 20 Month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.

You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification. 

You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body. 

This is a Level 3 qualification.

The successful candidate will complete the Multichannel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship, a nationally recognised qualification delivered fully online by The Development Manager (TDM), combining structured off the job training with practical workplace learning, coaching and assessment. 

Requirements

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4 or above)
  • Maths (grade 4 or above)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

  • GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or above

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar creative tools

The role will be fully based at our Kidderminster premises, which you must be able to travel to on a daily basis.
