We’re looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our Systems and Support team. You’ll gain hands-on experience across IT support, system and application support, and product testing.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Provide first-line support for company software and hardware products
  • Deliver internal IT support, maintaining business applications and network infrastructure
  • Assist with design and deployment of customer system solutions (remote and on-site)
  • Research emerging technologies to improve support capabilities
  • Manage and organise helpdesk tickets
  • Participate in software testing on real hardware and simulators
  • Attend team and project meetings
  • Work with databases and system integrations
  • Perform basic application testing to ensure requirements are met

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 4)
  • Maths (grade 4)

A Level in:

STEM subject (grade Pass)

Other requirements

You will attend Newcastle College (typically one day per week during term time) to complete a Level 6 Digital & Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship.

This will lead to a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions.

When not at college, you’ll gain practical, on-the-job experience supported by our team of engineers.

You must have the right to work in the UK.
You must be able to travel to our office and Newcastle College as required.
