Looking for a long-term career in manufacturing? The Walsall Wheelbarrow Co Ltd have a great opportunity for an apprentice to join their thriving team. The apprentice will have hands-on experience, learning the aspects of wheelbarrow manufacturing from experienced staff while completing a Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2.

Wage

£16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Maintain standards of housekeeping
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Learn all aspects of wheelbarrow assembly
  • Powder coating
  • Track work
  • Packaging parts
  • Loading
  • Any other day-to-day duties as requested by mentor/manager
