Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
As a Level 5 People Professional Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in HR and People Operations within a fast-growing FinTech.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment processes, including screening candidates and coordinating interviews
- Applying law/policy to HR issues, escalating when required
- Onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a smooth new-hire experience
- Embedding sustainable practices, evaluation, improvement
- Involved in budgeting / cost analysis
- Help manage HR records, policies, and compliance documentation
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
- Conduct market research on HR trends and best practices to enhance LoanTube’s People function
- Handle HR queries and provide first-line support to employees
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and HR best practices

- Embed organisational people policy to promote a diverse and inclusive culture with stakeholders.
- Analyse financial implications of people solutions ensuring value for money.
- Support the delivery of people strategies using technology and innovation in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Make decisions on people policy and issues raised, escalating concerns outside own area of responsibility.
- Use prioritisation tools e.g., priority matrix to manage workload, and deliver against business objectives.
- Challenge matters which conflict with ethical values or legislation.
- Contribute to the development of people policies and procedures or people initiatives.
- Interpret people and management data, from both internal and external sources to identify trends.
- Educate and support stakeholders to deal with wellbeing issues.

Training schedule
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
- You will complete the Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship
Upon completion (HR Apprenticeship only), you will be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) - The apprenticeship will be delivered via remote 1:1 tutor support, self-led study and blended learning and development activities, all within the workplace

Other requirements
Ensure you can travel to the office on a daily basis. This is fully office based. Prime office location in Hammersmith with easy access to Piccadilly, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines.
