We are looking for enthusiastic Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentices to join our team and provide front-line support to customers within a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring smooth coordination of information regarding shipments and timely communication between customers, network partners and operation teams.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
The role includes:
- Managing enquiries
- Processing documents
- Tracking deliveries, and resolving issues efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction and evolves around strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, while gaining valuable experience in logistics operations, data entry, and using partner transport management systems
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Receive, store, and dispatch goods within the warehouse
- Check and maintain stock accuracy through regular inventory checks
- Prepare and pack orders for delivery to customers
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times

- Communicate with others verbally, for example internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Communicate in writing with others, for example internal and external customers, colleagues and managers.
- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
- Carry out and record learning and development activities.

Training schedule
- The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
- A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course
- This is a predominantly work-based programme with college attendance required once a month. All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours
