Summary
Magnum Motorhomes have a fantastic opportunity for a new apprentice to join our Warehouse and Packing team. We’re looking for someone organised and eager to learn. You should be comfortable with physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying. No previous experience is needed, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Magnum Motorhomes and Caravan Supplies Ltd is a specialist stockist of building materials and accessories for caravans and motorhomes.
As our new apprentice, you will gain knowledge of the wide range of products we stock. Working within the Warehouse and Packing area of our business work activities could include but are not limited to:
- Receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers, checking for correct items and damages.
- Storing stock into designated areas correctly and locating existing stock for picking.
- Moving stock from the warehouse and assisting with loading and checking goods prior to shipment.
- Picking and packing goods.
- Maintaining stock records and using I.T to update the company inventory system.
- Assisting with stock checking and reporting.
- Assisting with ensuring the warehouse complies with HSE policies.
- Learning to use warehouse and storage equipment.
- All other associated duties as required.

- Communicate with others verbally, for example internal and external customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Communicate in writing with others, for example internal and external customers, colleagues and managers.
- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.

Training schedule
All delivery for this apprenticeship will take place within your place of work. A dedicated Vocational Trainer will visit on average once every 4 weeks, to establish a personal learning and development plan, outlining a schedule of training activities and business objectives.
